What I've been up to and E-scape and Scrap Team Reveal 1/6/2014

Hello all
Well its been quite a while, have been really busy, my Mum is not well and am sending a lot of time helping her. Also I have my Stampin' Up! business www.facebook/StampandScrapCheshire and am really happy getting gluey and glittery again Lol, But it hasn;t stopped me from working digitally too, especially now Stampin' Up! have fantastic Digi kits too!

They are also doing Digital Project Life and here is my 1st Digital Project life peice using Stampin' Up! Everyday Adventure Project Life Cards. So thats what I have been doing

So hee is my 1st layout for this weeks team reveal at E-scape and Scrap. The brief was Borders so I have added loads of border, I hope you like it. Kit Used Algera Designs Textured Love kit , Its great it has loads of ace metal elements and I think the staples enlarged worked really well as rails.

I started this layout with the same basic border idea , Using papers on angle to create a border, but I didn't want the rigid regimented feel of On the Rails. So they are all a little of kilter . I then added layers of embellishments to create an extravagant lush feel . Kit used the very Beautiful Old Roses by Celinoa's Designs.

So thats it for me for now. I hope you are all well, and I hope that you found something interesting in my post.

I hope to be back blogging on my blogs regularly but in the meantime you can see what I am upsto on https://www.facebook.com/StampandScrapCheshire

Thanks for reading

My second team reveal at e-scapeandscap.net

Well its my second team reveal at e-scapeandscrap.net . The challenge this week was to create with the theme rainbow. Either use rainbows or rinbow colours.

Here is my 1st layout

I love this pic of my grandson. The rainbow theme made me think of Rainbow Brite and I thought I could turn him into a rainbow brite by giving him multi coloured wings .  I also wanted to create a rainbow .
The kits I used for both my layouts were Coat of Many Colours by BH Designs , Hats Off to Autumn: Doilies and Circle Stitches by Julie Mead Designs and Julies Painted wings by Julie Mead designs

I used Coat of many colours kit and the wings kit or this layout.  I made all the flowers and butterfies from the wings kit and used the paper and stitches from the Coat of many colours kit.

I got thinking about what else I could do just using the wings kit and nothing else . I allowed myself to colour, straight cut  and stretch the wings. I allowed myself one font and a couple of lines of the pen tool.

Here is the layout
The sky is the blue wing stretched until it was big enough to look like sky. I think I may have made it slightly more transparent, The hills and the leaves were made withe the same wings. The clouds were made wih multi layered transparent wings
The butterflys by cutting the wings in half,The tree trunk and branches were made by stretching and squeezing the same wing that made the sun ,The bird was made with two sets of the same wing using all of it for the wings and cutting it apart or the tail. The head was cut from the sun wings.

I have a small free bee paper for you today I adore Kalidascopes so I hope you like this paper too

You can download this Free Paper Here

Team Reveal at e-scapeandscrap.net

Hello all

Its my 1st team reveal at e-scapeandscrap.net and the brief was to use themed  kits and embellishments.  As soon as I saw the brief I knew I just had to scrap last weekends trip out with my grandson where I caught a great shot of him with an owl, and some nice shots of the owl on its own.

So here are the two layouts that I have done

the layouts were both created with  Who Who Summer by The Busy Elf Designs  more of The Busy Elf Designs are available at e-scapeandscrap.net

I loved the Owl on the 1st layout as it sort of looks like its glancing lovingly at something. It goes so well with the picture.  It is an embellishment, but I decided I wanted it as a frame. I think it works well.  The second layout I colour changed the owl and faded it into the background as I wanted something a bit more subtle. I loved the arty paint clusters in the kit and I will be using them in many more projects. The s on the who is an edit of the kit.

I also put together another layout this week featuring my favorite dolls

Well thats it for me today as when you are reading this I'll be chuffing along on a steam train at Churnet Valley Railways steam galla and if I don't go to bed now. 1 am Sunday. I won't be up in  5 and a half hours.

Back and scrapping

Hello

Its been a while. Have been ill for a while and then had a hectic last couple of months catching up with life in general.

But now I am back and hope to be giving away some free papers very soon in the meanwhile. I am now on the Creative team for e-scapeandscrap.net . I love all their designers and am so excited to be working with them.

I have created a couple of layouts to start

The 1st is of my grandson reading one of his Christmas presents. He really enjoys books and I love giving him books as I love reading myself and love the magic of reading and adore sharing it with JAKE
Kit used is A woodland Winter  add on Kit by Algera Designs avalable HERE I love Algera Designs and more of her kits are avalable from e-scapeandscrap.net

My next two layouts feature the same kit and shows how differently the kit can be used without any colour changing.

This is a pic of my grandsons 4 month old smile .  I love his smile . Kit used is Rosee Martinale by Angel's Designs available HERE

My second layout using the same kit is of my friend Bindi
Angel's Designs has loads of great kits and Commercial use kits as well and are also  available at
e-scapeandscrap.net

Well its a short and sweet post today , Hopefully I will have a freebee paper for you in the next few days

bye for now
