Competition update.

I am going to update this post as entries come in for the competition.Competition involves downloading competition papers (HERE) and creating any craft item, Scrapbook lo, card, altered art peice containing at least one of the recognisable papers. Winner will recieve a pick and mix Ribbon goodie bag from Ribbon Mad Although this competition is not sponsered by Ribbon mad (ie I am paying for the prize) Carol has kindly said that she will add a few extra bits to the goodie Bag , so thank you very much Carole(Owner of Ribbon Mad)

Seems like it was only just Monday. Time is just flying away with me at the moment.Have been looking at the PaperWishes site (HOTP) and have added another must have to my very long list of must haves. I love the swirly doodles template

Wednesday and Backlink Viral Games

Well Wednesday. You know those days where everything goes pear shaped. Well thats today for me. No big things just lots of little things. Waters got into my phone cable and my phone keeps constantly ringing. Not DREEER DREEER just DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER its been happening on and off all day and its driving me mad. So thats my 1st Woe and the wish that goes along with it is I WISH IT WOULD STOP.
Second Woe. Slipped when carrying one of my paper carriers, grabbed it and the side has torn open, Scattering contents over floor. I wish I had more paper carriers.
All my woes and wishes add up to not a bad day really, There are so many worse things that could happen.

Tuesday

Well today is my day away from my blog. So I thought I would pop in and set a challenge. I know how we all love to be seen at our best. So I think a big challenge is to either use an unflattering image of yourself, or like me take some photos of yourself pulling faces. Just hold the camera at arms length and do soom gooning. For my layout I've used a Dame Edna Everage quote which I think is hillarious, a bit like my photos. So thats my challenge. 11.34 Monday

Hi hope everyone is well. Have been surfing loads of sites and came across Freshly Brewed Coffee by Mindy. I couldn't resist buying 2 of her mini Digi scrapbook kits Garden wall and Sun Washed. Love them both. I definatly will be returning. I have created a Digital scrapbook Layout using the Garden Wall Kit. All about Wobbly Bob. Wobbly Bob was our cat who unfortunatly died last year he was 14 so a good age. Anyway heres the layout. I adore Mindys frames.

1 o clock Monday Morning. Template layout

Well not able to sleep, in a creative mood. I wanted to create a lo using my competiton papers, but wanted something different to do. I've never used a template before so having seen Lindsey Jane Designs Templates I thought I would use one of hers. So I used template 2. Now having never used a template not sure I got all my settings right, but am fairly happy with my lo. So heres my scrapbook page using the competition papers and Lindseys Great template. Sorry that the picture is not so great.My excuse lack of sleep

So now I have dabbled for a while. I will yet again attempt to get some beauty sleep. God knows I could do with it.

Sunday and the 10th Day of my 1st blog

After 10 days of starting my 1st blog, I can honestly say. I am really enjoying it. Its really great seeing so many downloads have been downloaded for my competition. I am really excited waiting to see the entries. Its interesting how my blog is sort of designing itself. Each day something new pops into my head, and takes me on a journey, I must say thank you to Daring Cardmakers as their blog is a great inspiration as is Pencil Lines. So where will my blog take me next week. I can't wait to find out

Daring Card makers challenge

The Challenge is called You're not the (em)boss of me and can be seen at Daring Cardmakers and the instructions were Embossing.Dry embossing with a light box or with a die cutting machine.Using embossing powders or triple embossing.Using pre-embossed papers.
Embossing with found items.Just have fun playing!

Well funnily enough I had just purloined some scraps of very very nice embossed wallpaper, left overs from a friends decorating. The paper is embossed with a texture. I cut out one of the flowers and embossed some of the detail and shape of the flower, then highlighted the pattern on the petals with Sakura glaze pen . I embosed a fake stitching border round my card, freehand embossing. I then used a Magenta stamp and heat embossed that with carbon black embossing powder and highlighted flower with Sakura, Cut out then mounted on a leaf, cut from the wallpaper . Used stamps away corner stamps with encore gold ink and highlighted with Sakura Glaze pen.
